Zekoder DevCamp: 14-Week Online Program

A 14-week evening, online DevCamp with full-stack, data analytics, and AI multi-agent tracks, AI-assisted DevOps, and a 4-week capstone—ideal for students, graduates, and career changers.

Overview

Zekoder DevCamp is a 14-week, evening-first online program with live workshops, weekend studios, and hands-on projects culminating in a multi-disciplinary capstone, designed for portfolio-ready outcomes and employability.

Participants complete core engineering foundations, a chosen track, AI-assisted DevOps and security, and a team capstone, graduating with three deployable artifacts and interview-ready assets.

Who It’s For

Built for final-year students, recent graduates with basic coding exposure, and motivated career shifters seeking an immersive yet structured pathway into tech roles.

The program emphasizes practical workflows, modern tools, and team delivery to mirror workplace expectations in software, data, and AI-enabled engineering.

Weekly Schedule

  • Two 2-hour live evening workshops per week for concept delivery and guided practice.
  • One 3-hour weekend studio or guest session for deeper dives, demos, or industry talks.
  • Approximately 15 hours of asynchronous project work to build sprint deliverables that roll into the capstone.

Program Structure

Pre-camp

Prep

Git basics, Linux CLI, JS/Python refresh, and a sandbox cloud account.

Week 1

Foundations

Agile rituals, Jira, Git branching with PRs, TDD intro, VS Code and Docker, and a RESTful API kata with tests.

Weeks 2-7

Tracks

Choose one specialization; each block ends with a sprint deliverable that seeds the capstone.

Weeks 8-9

DevOps and Security

GitHub Actions with CodeQL, Terraform basics, secrets and SBOM, OWASP threat modeling, and GenAI in CI.

Weeks 10-13

Capstone

Mixed-skill squads build a cloud-native product blending mobile/web, multi-agent AI, and analytics, with mentor stand-ups and code reviews.

Week 14

Demo and Employability

Pitch day, CV/LinkedIn polish, mock interviews, and a hiring-partner expo.

Tracks

Choose one specialization; each block ends with a sprint deliverable that seeds the capstone.

Full-Stack Mobile & Web App Engine

  • React 19, Vite, Tailwind for a responsive PWA.
  • React Native with Expo for a companion app.
  • FastAPI backend with async REST and WebSockets.
  • PostgreSQL with SQLModel and migrations.
  • Docker-compose and local Kubernetes (K3d).
  • GraphQL gateway and rate limiting.

AI-Assisted Data Analysis

  • Pandas and DuckDB for insights pipelines.
  • Plotly and Altair for interactive dashboards.
  • scikit-learn pipelines for a regression model service.
  • LLM-powered analytics with function calling.
  • MLflow for versioned models with metrics.
  • Airflow 2 for scheduled ETL and retraining DAGs.

AI Multi-Agent Engineer

  • Prompt engineering and LangChain for a Q&A bot.
  • Tools, memory, and pgvector for structured documents.
  • AutoGen multi-agent protocols for coding tasks.
  • Function calling and RAG for grounded responses.
  • Evaluation frameworks (Ragas, TruLens).
  • Agents with browser/code/bash actions.

DevOps and Security (Weeks 8-9)

Participants implement GitHub Actions pipelines with CodeQL scanning, introduce Terraform for IaC, manage secrets and SBOM, and practice OWASP Top 10 threat modeling.

Generative AI augments CI for test-case generation and infra documentation, culminating in a hardening and auto-deploy challenge of prior sprint artifacts.

Capstone (Weeks 10-13)

Cross-functional squads ship a cloud-native product that blends mobile/web front ends, a multi-agent AI service layer, and an analytics dashboard, supported by mentor stand-ups and code reviews.

Capstone work product becomes the centerpiece of the graduate portfolio across app, AI/agents, and data analytics tracks.

Graduate Outcomes

  • Portfolio: A responsive PWA/mobile app, a multi-agent AI service, and a data-analytics dashboard, each on a secured, automated pipeline.
  • Workflow Fluency: Modern AI-augmented practices across development, data, and DevOps for real-world delivery.
  • Employment Readiness: Role alignment for junior full-stack engineer, data analyst with LLM, or AI agent developer.

Tools and Technologies

Core tech includes React, React Native, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, Pandas, DuckDB, Plotly, Airflow, MLflow, LangChain, AutoGen, Ragas, TruLens, GitHub Actions, Docker, K3d, and Terraform basics.

Demo and Employability (Week 14)

The final week features pitch day, CV and LinkedIn refinement, mock technical interviews, and a hiring-partner expo to accelerate placement readiness.
